18 year old Raejon Alford ( Rae Accardo), and 15 year old Shantez Alford ( Yadda Gee Gotta ) were both born to Sidra Gillis, and well Known Producer “Jon Won”, in Eastern North Carolina, and were exposed to life
in the studio early by watching their father record most of the local talent coming from their town.

They soon developed their own musical talents at the ages of 10 and 13, and formed a duo that till this
day is called “The Scrap Boyz” , and since then, they have proven that they are no strangers to any stage.

Their music is based on everyday life as a Teen, but appeals to listeners of all ages and is suitable for every scene, from the club, to the broken hearted.

Raejon had his very own Pro tools based studio at his home in Raleigh NC, where they create, and
pre-record most of their own music, before they took it to their father, who now owns a studio in Atlanta
Ga, for further engineering and mastering.
After the Scrap Boyz name began to grow beyond the borders of North Carolina, it was time for Jon Won to move them to Atlanta to further their career’s

North Carolina's Hip Hop royalty, “The scrap Boyz”, are most noted for the club-banging, South swaggin hits “Birthday Girl” & “Wake Up”. The Scrap Boyz are now invading the airwaves with their latest single “ Ain’t Got It Like Me” Featuring Young Money’s Lil Chuckee, and they also have a smashing video for the song on WorldStar Hip-Hop.

Raejon (Young Rae) now has his own production company, called "Young Rae Beats" in which he creates and sales compositions of various genres, while Shantez (Young Gee), is venturing into establishing himself as one of Atlanta's youngest club DJ's.

In 2010, The Scrap Boyz were nominated for the "Best Group Of The Year" award at the North Carolina Underground Music Awards that was held in Greensboro NC.

The Scrap Boyz have also lengthened their resume by being featured on a 15 city tour which stretched from Florida to California, Performing at Atlanta's Peace Day Fest, The Sweet Auburn Spring Fest, and The Sweet Auburn Fall Fest.

The Scrap Boyz call themselves the next generation of hip hop, and have impressed their fans by designing their own clothing line, called “SB Athletics which they wear to maintain their own unique style.

You will also be able to catch The Scrap Boyz in the upcoming movie, Double-Sided, by Raven Magwood, which cast will include Robin Givens, and Greg Alan Williams.
